Favorite WOD/Exercise: My favorite one would have to be dead lifts and rope climbs.
PR Pride: My 205# dead lift.
Least Favorite WOD/Exercise: Assault bike. Anything with assault bike.
Tell us about yourself.
I am 34 years old. I am married to my high school sweetheart Nate and we have one little girl who is 6. I work for Lowes. I have been there for almost 13 years.
Why did you start CrossFit?
I started crossfit because I needed something in my life that was for me. I love my husband and my daughter, but I needed something different and challenging for myself.
What is your favorite thing about CrossFit?
Honestly my favorite thing about it is that I have meet some amazing people who have made a huge impact on my life in such a great way.
What motivates you to CrossFit?
My family and my need to prove to myself that I can do this.
What goals would you like to achieve in the next year that CrossFit can help you with?
I would love to lose some more weight. To be honest I would like to lose about 25# by end of year. I would like to get better at snatches and the assault bike.
What would you tell someone who was thinking about starting CrossFit, but was nervous or scared?
To be honest it is very scary and nerve wracking. But all of the people and coaches are amazing and so nice. I say try something new and different and challenge yourself.
