CrossFit Experience: 18 months
Favorite WOD/Exercise: Rowling!
Least Favorite WOD/Exercise: I’m afraid to mention it because it might make it fresh in your mind and it will appear ..... it was partner Day and one person did a wall sit while the other rowed. You switch as needed. No rest and it burned. It was quite awful.

Tell us about yourself.
I am 38 and have a beautiful daughter Sydney and 2 step daughters Grace & Lexi. I’m a full time realtor and love helping people.
Why did you start CrossFit?
I was at my heaviest and felt very sluggish. I had put on 20 lbs snd had no energy or confidence. Michelle had talked to me about joining but i didn’t have the time (an excuse). I saw her boot camp come across my Facebook and saw it was two days a week and in the evenings. I decided to join and it was the best decision I ever made.
How long how you been CrossFitting?
I did 2 boot camps and then officially joined the gym. I’ve been doing it for a year and a half now and can’t imagine my life without this family!
What is your favorite thing about CrossFit?
The people and the confidence I’ve gained back. I work out 4-5 days @5am and the group of people I work out with are the greatest friends. We are family! We have get togethers, we text each other several times throughout the day , we hold each other accountable and we are there to lend a helping hand when needed.
What is your favorite exercise/WOD?
Rowling!!! I’m a bit competitive and love this challenge. It’s more fun vs realizing you’re working out. You and partner row and try to land on exactly 100. If you do it’s a strike and no burpees. However many you’re off is how many burpees you do. I also Love that darn bike. My first few classes I struggled to do 10 calories , now i own that bike!
What is a PR (Personal Record) that you are proud of?
There are 2: Deadlift of 215#s that day I was so proud of myself and felt like I could do anything. My clean and jerk of 100#s Michelle was there cheering me on. When I hit 100#, I dropped that bar ran over and hugged and hi fived everyone and couldn’t stop smiling.
What motivates you to CrossFit?
The people and it’s now become an addiction. I love how I feel, plus I don’t hate looking in the mirror anymore
What goals would you like to achieve in the next year that CrossFit can help you with?
I would like to slim my tummy area. I’ve really tried hard to be cautious of what I eat, but it’s not perfect. I love any dip and I love bud light. I will keep working hard as I’ve made the Gains.
What would you tell someone who was thinking about starting CrossFit, but was nervous or scared?
Everyone is scared and walking through that door is frightening, but i promise you it will be the best decision. Crossfit isn’t for skinny people or body builders. It’s for all types. Want to be a better you ? Try the 6 week Evolution Boot Camp- you will be proud of yourself!!
