CrossFit Experience: Almost 2 years
Favorite WOD/Exercise: Honestly any partner Wod is my favorite! I’ve never been a fan of working out alone! Working out with someone really pushes me!
Least Favorite WOD/Exercise:I hate any WOD that has wall balls! I swear it’s been almost 2 years and I still can’t walk, pee or do stairs for 2 days after wall balls! There’s so many more things I could say it’s a love/hate relationship that you can’t seem to get enough of!

Tell us about yourself.
I am a Realtor with Howard Hanna Wadsworth! Being a Realtor you feel you need to keep a certain image since your face is plastered all over the place! I have worked out my entire life doing all kinds of things spinning, jazzercise, boot camp, cardio classes and more! I used to work out to look better and now in my forties I workout for me and to grow old gracefully! I want to live till 110 and play on floor with my grand babies someday!
Why did you start CrossFit?
I joined crossfit because my very dear friend Amanda Daily told me I should! I told her she was crazy I have never lifted weights like this in my life everything I did was mostly cardio! I honestly didn’t think I could do it! But I joined the boot camp and quickly became addicted!
What is your favorite thing about CrossFit?
First of all the family unity, second is the coaches want you to reach your goal and they just don’t stop helping you get there! A lot of gyms pay attention to the newbies and not the people that have been there 2 years! The staff here is amazing!
What is a PR (Personal Record) that you are proud of?
I have to say my favorite PR is my bench press it may not sound like a lot but the fact I can lift 100 lbs amazing me.
What motivates you to CrossFit?
Everything! I don’t want to miss when I do I feel like I missed out! I love my workout buddies as much as my family lol! They are such great people and honestly people you truly want to be around!
What goals would you like to achieve in the next year that CrossFit can help you with?
I want to see my body change even more than it has! I have started better nutrition this year with help from Kelcie and Michelle so I’m so excited to see changes in 2019.
What would you tell someone who was thinking about starting CrossFit, but was nervous or scared?
I was so scared! Seeing people lift is scary and intimidating! This gym, these people are different they will help you do it right, they will help you fit right in! They want you to succeed and they will become your friend! Don’t wait! Take care of you! Stop going to a gym where everyone ignores you and you’re by yourself! Come to a place that is honestly like going to see family! I swear to you it will be best decision of your life!
