Tell us about yourself.
I am a 48 year old Project Assistant.
Why did you start CrossFit?
I was invited to Bring a Friend by Lisa Lattea. I had gained 20+ pounds and was very discouraged.
What is your favorite thing about CrossFit?
The people. I've never been around a more fun, sincere, encouraging and supportive group of people!
What is a PR (Personal Record) that you are proud of?
Pullup!! When I started CF I couldn't hang from the rig without left shoulder pain. In July I was able to do my first pullup! 2 in a row...2x!!
What motivates you to CrossFit?
What goals would you like to achieve in the next year that CrossFit can help you with?
I would like to perfect my lifting techniques and improve my cardio.
What would you tell someone who was thinking about starting CrossFit, but was nervous or scared?
Do it! You wont regret it! The support and encouragement of the coaches will not let you fail! Best decision I've made!! It really does become a lifestyle!
