What is CrossFit?
Well, I could give you the standard definition that CrossFit is constantly varied functional movement done at a high intensity. However, that would be doing a disservice to both you and CrossFit. CrossFit is a community. Yeah, I said it, a community, of people who come together to work on their fitness and create a lifestyle of wellness. It uses a different workout (WOD) every day to provide you with an outstanding workout. It focuses on metabolic conditioning (cardio), gymnastics (body weight exercises), and weightlifting. While doing CrossFit, you will build bonds with your classmates and coaches. More than likely you will soon find yourself attending CrossFit events and hanging out at your box (the gym where you work out).
CrossFit is a program that will help you meet whatever goals you have. Whether your goal is to lose weight, gain muscle, look better naked, or make new friends, CrossFit is going to help you get there. Don’t just take my word for it, check out the videos below to see what other people are saying.
